CASEAN is a gathering place and training center for the ASEAN business community. The place connects business, art, and culture among ASEAN who work there to create world-class business connections. This is the place for working people to feel creative, energetic, and connected. Lighting innovation has been created for this project to fit its multi-purposes.
Research & Development
C-Asean design challenge trying to help interior appear as modern and clean. The new custom pendant direct/indirect luminaire was developed by BioArchitek using the state-of-the art technology available while enhance aesthetic of the interior space.
Color and Layer of light have been introduced to yield weaving pattern of ceiling. The custom donut luminaire for the main lobby was a challenging for this innovative solution to provide uplight ambient atmosphere, focal down light for accent/exhibition. Exercise through different materials for fixture design to integrate speakers, uplight and downlight has been conducted to ensure best outcome and flexible. Also, the lighting control with ease of use and sophisticate enough to accompany the activities of the place had been done via KNX with ip-based application on ipad.
