With sponsorship from KMUTT, BioArchitek, SCG, TOA, Saint Gobain and major funding from Office of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Projects, the project is considered to be Zero Energy Dormitory Building. 

Design utilizes natural light, crossed orientation for ventilation and sunlight harvesting.  Rainwater collecting system has been innovated for ease of operation and maintenance.  Landscape is designed for children as a demonstration cases for consuming and for water treatment. Building is crafted for better health and well-being on drinking water, air quality, acoustics, visual and thermal comfort.

In addition, Naan is in earthquake zone where structural system is steel with special detail and to withstand the earthquake.  Structure and material is prefabrication system to reduce waste from over  or under design and from human error. More is to save cost from transportation in a remote area.
